New! 2017

The big House of the Elves, come and discover where Santa’s inhabitants live!

New headquarters in the Palace of Venaria!!

The village lands on the lovely gardens of the Palace,
live the charm of Venaria,
the city of Christmas.

Discover this village as a far away dream came down to the city,

it is a village in reverse that travelled to meet us, appearing suddenly between the
trees of the park.
Yesterday there was nothing, but now it is there, standing in front of you, and you
can’t help getting in…

…and so you get closer, and here there are the pitched roofs, the wooden tiles, long
strings of white lights and the clocks as tall as a child.
Colors and puffs of smoking are leading out from the windows and from the chimney
announcing the great job that the elves are doing inside there. We are now into
Christmas dream.

THE ROUTE

  1. The amazing Entrance

Our village starts in a place that seems to be frozen in time.
Here all the children receive from the elves a little hat that turns them,
just for one day, into Santa’s little helpers. So the visit can start.

  2. The Ancestor’s Hall

Let’s enter to the Ancestor’s Hall: a gallery in which there are exposed some paintings showing Santa’s history on the different historical ages. You can see
medieval Santa Claus, the one of the Renaissance, the egyptian, the prehistorical, the one painted by Van Gogh, by Picasso and Toulouse-Lautrec. Then some artworks suddenly come alive, telling us the story of the man with the white beard and without age, that can deliver in just one night his gifts to all the children in the world.

  3. The Postal Office

Let’s pass to the Postal Office, where all the kids can sit in front of the bureau to create their wishes list. It will be mailed and given to Santa Claus.
From a big colored tube descends thousands of letters from all the countries in the
world, neatly stored on the shelves of the walls, looking as a beehive. To sort out the requests there are the elves postal workers, they sometimes find some shy papers written with adults handwriting.

  4. The Toys Factory

The big Toys Factory is the children’s paradise, they can get lost in the steamy puffs of the fantastic machines, and into the magical projections on the walls and on the roof. The assembly lines never stops and the noise of the wheels accompany everyday the relentless work of the elves. Little trains, dolls, teddies and tambourines are built in front of our eyes.

  5. The House of the Elves

Let’s go down to the House of the Elves, that hosts the night area on the top floor.
Dozens of bunk beds from which you can watch the falling stars projections and the constellations on the roof, before falling asleep. To the ground floor there’s a big dining room with tables and chairs fitting children’s size.
Here the little ones will be involved from the elves in creative works like the realization of christmas ornaments, the decoration of cookies or the construction of colored games. At the end, will be delivered the «Official Santa’s little helper degree».

  6. Santa’s Room

Now our magic route leads us into the most secret place of the house: Santa’s room. It is like poking around his secret world, the place where Santa gives a shape to the toys, where he looks to the stars and plans his trip on the longest night of the year. The room is equipped with everything he needs: the planetarium, the astronomic maps, and the list of the names of all the children in alphabetical order. And there is also his bed, the fireplace always running, the armchair, but above all, there’s him, ready to listen the wishes of the little ones.

  7. The Sleigh Room

The last room of the trip is the Sleigh one. Here we can seat and dream to drive a very beautiful Sleigh already full of packets of every shape and dimension.
It is placed in the center of a stall, guarded all the day by nine Santa’s reindeers ready to depart. The Sleight leans on two platforms that reach the outside bending toward the sky; this is the long launch ramp from which Santa will take the flight the night of December 24.
